While My Guitar Gently Weeps was released September 19, 2006 and was featured on the Conan OBrien Show.

Winner of a Hoku award in 2007 for best instrumental album of the year. It was also featured on the "Late Night With Conan O'Brien Show" in February of 2008 when Jake played his most well noted cover tune "While My Guitar Gently Weeps".

This album is mostly instrumental with a few bonus tracks that feature Jake with a 3 piece rhythm section (Drums & Bass). It is full of original tunes and is one of the best selling albums in Jake discography.
