San Francisco Jazz Festival Oct 21, 2009

We are very excited to announce another jklub event is coming up! In November, Jake is set to play a string of shows in Southern California. One of these shows lands in Rancho Cucamonga at the lovely Victoria Gardens Cultural Center on Nov. 21 (Saturday).

We are planning to have a jklub gathering the day of this show. Activities will include an unplugged performance, special photo shoot, "Talk Story With Jake" session where Jake will speak about his life and musical career. Plus giveaways which include free concert tickets, rare merchandise, and retail albums.

As an added show bonus, Jake will be performing the following day in Glendora, which is a short 15 minute drive from Rancho Cucamonga. Make it a double header!

To attend the event each member must purchase a ticket for the show that night (November 21 in Rancho Cucamonga). We have a fan club reserved seating block in the first row balcony. Or you may purchase tickets directly from the venue box office.

Music Is Good Medicine Newsletter

Epic Event Fundraiser - Oahu, Hawaii

Jake will be participating in a unique fundraising event to support the foster children of Hawaii. This is a casino style event and will also include a performance by Jake and others. All proceeds go to benefit the Epic Foundation. The date is coming up, and there is very limited seating. This is a great chance to enjoy a oceanfront, home-style party with good music and casual casino games.

Jake is set to perform at this years San Francisco Jazz Festival! The show is taking place on Wednesday October 21, 2009 at the lovely Davies Symphony Hall. Tickets are still available starting at $25. This is a must see show and will be the first stop after Jake's long Japan Tour.

Across The Universe Import

It has been a long awaited arrival for this Japanese Import. Awhile back Jake released an all Beatles cover album, only in Japan. This album is filled with thirteen of Jake's favorite Beatles songs...all played on the ukulele. Including two very special collaborations with Cyndi Lauper and Yo-Yo Ma this album is sure to be one for the ages.

My Life Import

Also recently in stock is the full length import album "My Life". The mini six-song EP version was released in the U.S. However, the Japan release contains a full twenty tracks. Including the rare and emotional piece Ehime maru, which Jake wrote in memory of the tragic collision on February 9, 2001.

Annon Album Release

Jake recently released a two-track mini album entitled "Annon". This album was released to mark the celebration of Shin Buddhism Founder Shinran Shonin's 750th Memorial. Jake wrote the title track, Annon, specifically for this album. Also included is the track "Ichigoichie" which was previously not released in the U.S.

Other Japan Import Albums

We also recently stocked more of the Japanese Import Albums. Jake's Japan album releases are very different from his U.S. releases and often contain tracks that have never been released in the U.S. They are a hot item and we are selling them at much cheaper prices than other online retailers.
